Let’s think about our starting point

“There is always something to teach and learn.” I remember that I was about 9 or 10 years old when I went with my maternal grandmother to Barrancabermeja, a small city in Colombia, South America, and it was precisely at this age that I had my first real experiences on “Give and” Receive. ”

I remember going with someone whom I consider to be my “extended family”, Amparo Ferrín. We went to do missionary work with the church at Christmas time. I accepted the mission of going to marginal sectors to give love and gifts to families in need. I understood that we would carry love and acceptance. What I did not know at that time, was that God was preparing my heart for the person I am today and that he was preparing me for my professional career, which is to work with people and to offer them hope and acceptance. That has been my mission, to be a social worker, a mental health therapist and a coach for youth and adults.

However, what does that mean to me?
I am a woman in constant growth and a woman who has learned to have confidence in herself. From a young age, I learned that listening was important, that being a caring person was an advantage, and that caring for others was “my thing.”
As an adult, I learned to share my love and life lessons with others, such as the students and teens I work with, or the women and young adults with depression and anxiety, or the men with lack of self-confidence.

Defining myself as a Spiritual Coach leads me to identify myself as a woman who can see spiritual life as a “gift”, someone who will invite you to use your beliefs (whatever they may be) in your favor. Similarly, someone who will help you in your process of defining who you are; to accept your failures as strengths, to develop new life habits that will facilitate the process of living as a successful person!
