When we talk about Music Therapy, we are talking about the combination of music, therapy, integrated with psychology. So, what is Psychology? The answer is, it’s a science in charge of understanding human behaviors. When we think about therapy, it makes a reference to all of the tools that we use to help increase or decrease any behaviors or feelings. When we think about Music, it refers to some expressions in art.

Have you thought about how much music plays such an important part in your life, or how it can be used as a therapeutic tool whenever the need arises? Music can be a powerful way to bring emotions or energy to the forefront. Did you ever feel a sense of happiness or a calming sensation after you danced, or listened to your favorite singer? Are you using music as an instrument for healing? Do you have a good playlist that energizes you, or helps you to calm down? If not, go ahead and create your own playlist.
